Phil was born in Sydney, Australia and grew up in the tough and poorer outer suburbs of the city. By the time he was in his late teens his scene was one of motorcycles, drug and alcohol abuse, and crime. However, in 1972 the course of his life was to change abruptly after suffering a life threatening motorcycle wreck. During the next 18 dark months while recovering, Phil cried out to God and was answered with a visitation from the Lord. It was here where he was challenged to lay down his life to follow Jesus. In obedience he did so, and over the following years he was taught by the Lord how to develop his faith to receive healing for the multiple injuries he has sustained. Then in the early eighties Phil studied at Bible College and after graduating was ordained into the ministry in 1985. The next year he pioneered his first church in Sydney with Lyn. In the nineties his faith was severely put to the test when his daughter Rachel at age 9sustained horrific burns in a fire. After applying biblical principles learned in prayer, God miraculously healed Rachel from the terrible disfigurement and scarring associated with burns and today is being used by God to testify to his amazing love, grace and healing power.
